If I’m a Georgia Bulldogs fan, last season definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. On the one hand, you’re coming off back-to-back National Championships, so you can’t be that upset about failing to win a third straight, but on the other hand, I would view last season as a massive missed opportunity. I… Read More Georgia Bulldogs 2024 Season Preview & Prediction
Quick thoughts on Week 10: I know a lot of people are saying Alabama only won that game because Bama knocked Jayden Daniels out of the game on a dirty hit, and I think that’s definitely the reason LSU’s offense stopped scoring, but they also couldn’t stop the Bama offense at all. Like, literally not… Read More CFB Week 10 Reactions, Penn State-Michigan Preview & Prediction, Power Ratings & Gambling Picks
I am going to set the tone early in this article: we want as many compelling, high-quality football games as possible, and everything the college football big wigs do should be in pursuit of that. Currently, college football is not delivering. At least not anywhere near its potential. College Football Week 0 2023 is coming… Read More Do Not Weep for the Pac-12
They’ve lost two games this year, by a total of four combined points, and both games were lost on the last play of the game. They were in the National Championship game 10 months ago, and probably would’ve won had Jameson Williams not torn his ACL in the first half. Vegas’s take on the Michigan/Penn State game as of Wednesday: Penn State has not won a road game against a top-5 ranked team since 1994. The team they beat that year was… Michigan. I’m about to fire off some hot takes, here goes: Not only would Texas be 6-0 if Ewers didn’t get hurt, they would have blown out Alabama. I’m sitting here watching Alabama, Jalen Milroe just threw a pick with about a minute left in the first half, the score is 14-14. Texas would have beaten… Read More College Football Week 6 Reactions: FRAUDS Everywhere?!
We are now a third of the way through the season already. I’ve altered the formula just a bit by adding Net Tackles for Loss. I just think it’s one of the most important stats in college football and I discovered a site that tracks it well, so I added it into the formula. The… Read More College Football Power Ratings: Through Week 4
It’s official: So the current contract expires in 2026, which is the latest the new expanded playoff would go into effect. But apparently, according to Heather Dinich, there is strong motivation to get things sorted out so that the new playoff can take effect as early as 2024: I’m sure they’ll find a way to… Read More Great News: College Football Playoff Will Expand to 12 Teams by 2026 Latest, 2024 Earliest
All year, I’ve been repeating it ad nauseam: As much as we all want to crown Georgia and give them the National Title right now, Georgia has not beaten Bama since 2007. Nick Saban simply owns Georgia. Doesn’t matter if Mark Richt is coaching or Kirby Smart–Nick Saban has consistently found ways to rip Georgia’s… Read More Georgia-Bama SEC Championship Deep Dive: Will Dawgs Finally Break Through?
